     The filing period for candidates for the Concord School District Board of Education will open on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024.

    Three members of the Concord School District Board of Education, the Concord School District Treasurer, and the Concord School District Clerk will be elected within the Concord School District.

    The terms of board members Pamela Walsh (At Large), Bob Cotton (At Large), and Barb Higgins (At Large) are ending December 31, 2024. The Term of the Treasurer, Thomas Croteau, is ending December 31, 2024. The Term of the Clerk, Patrick Taylor, is ending December 31, 2024.

    The election will be held on November 5, 2024, and each elected member will serve a three (3) year term, beginning January 1, 2025. The elected Treasurer and Clerk will each serve a three (3) year term, beginning January 1, 2025.

    To be qualified for election to an At Large office of the Board, the candidate must be a registered voter of the Concord School District and domiciled in the Concord School District.

    Individuals wishing to declare candidacy for the Board of Education should file within the filing period with Patrick H. Taylor, Clerk, at the Concord School District Offices, 38 Liberty Street, Concord, New Hampshire 03301.

  • A citizens' petition has been submitted to the Concord School District Clerk to amend the school district charter. The petition met the criteria for placement on the November 5, 2024 school district ballot.

    Amendment One

    "No Concord public school existing as of January 1, 2024, including but not limited to the District's middle school, (Rundlett Middle School), shall be relocated from the parcel on which it was situated as of January 1, 2024, to be rebuilt or replaced elsewhere, without an affirmative simple majority vote of Concord School District voters voting on the question ratifying such relocation. This amendment shall be effective immediately upon passage."

    Amendment Two

    No parcel of real property owned by the Concord School District, larger than one acre, shall be sold, gifted, or exchanged by the District without an affirmative simple majority vote of Concord School District voters voting on the question. This amendment shall be effective immediately upon passage.”
